Karen Mirzoyan

Since 2021 Karen Mirzoyan has been teaching a number of courses on the theory of diplomacy, regional studies, conflictology, and the Turkish language at the Russian-Armenian University.

 

Karen Mirzoyan has the rank of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. In 1993-2020 he worked at the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh. Over the years, he headed the departments of the Near and Middle East countries and the Bordering countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. Later he served as the adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and Ambassador-at-Large.

 

In 2005-2010 he was the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the Black Sea Economic Cooperation. In 1997-2001 Karen Mirzoyan was the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Artsakh in the Republic of Armenia, and in 2012-2017 - the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh.
